Look at your LJ "interests" list. If you have fewer than ten interests, pick 'em all. If you have fewer than fifty interests, pick every fifth one. If you have over fifty, pick every tenth one. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly what it is about these things that interests you so much.
Feh, I'd rather break the rules. Here's the more interesting of my... err... interests.
30-06 One of the most powerful military firearm munitions ever issued, used in the M1903 Springfield, M1917 Enfield, M1 Garand, M1917 and M1919 machine guns, M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle, and countless other powerful weapons. The round is also known as the NATO 7.62x63mm, not to be confused with the 7.62x51mm (which is the .308 Winchester, much less powerful). I own a 1943 issue M1903-A4 sniper rifle.
alternative history What would have happened if the Nazis developed the A-bomb? What would have happened if the US invaded Japan? What would have happened if MacArthur had been allowed to invade China?
alton brown God of the Kitchen. His turkey recipie is probably one of the best meals I've ever eaten.
bodypaint There's just something so very sexy about a body that is both totally nude and totally covered at the same time.
caprice The 1994-96 Chevy Caprice is generally considered the best production police car of all time.
cartography Maps! I love to look at maps. From AAA road maps to huge atlases. Google Earth consumes an enormous amount of my time.
comic books It was comic books that led me to the furry fandom, and I now have one of the largest collections of furry comics in the world (as of Jan 1, 2005, I had 2279 comics and fanzines).
devil's advocate Someone who argues against a commonly held position, regardless of his own beliefs. Playing Devil's Advocate can get people to think about why they support a particular position by showing them alternative points of view.
elo The Electric Light Orchestra. One of my all time favorite bands. Their album "Time" is probably my favorite.
furry artwork I have a fairly large collection of furry artwork, somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 original pieces. Many of which I have displayed on the walls of my house. I've tried my hand at creating art, but I rather suck at it.
gadget The only female member of the Rescue Rangers, and proof that geeky is sexy!
genus The longest running adults only comic book, and the comic that introduced me to the furry fandom.
meteorology The science of weather! I've always been facinated by the weather, and I've long had a knack at predicting it. I took 3 meteorology classes in college, and wanted to major in it, but the nearest college offering such a major at the time was UC Davis, a long way from home.
murdering sims I've never been able to play The Sims straight. I either work on creative ways to kill them (the firestorm is my favorite), or I set up psychological experiments (such as forcing 2 people to live in a small hut with no bed and no toilets)
numismatics Coin collecting! I've collected coins since I was a kid, and I still do. Pack rats like shinies. When I was in grade school, a family friend worked for the Christian Anti-Comunist Crusade (yes, I knew Dr. Schwartz and Rev. Colbert) and traveled all around the world, and he would always give me the change he'd accumulated. I've had other family friends give me coins and when my grandfather passed away, he left me dozens of Morgan and Peace silver dollars, some dating back to the 1870's, and a Quarter Eagle gold piece.
tale spin Probably the second greatest Disney cartoon series ever created (after the Rescue Rangers). Baloo was a personal hero, and Rebecca Cunningham was pretty hot. A definite MILF. ;) My favorite character, though, was Wildcat. He was never featured often enough.
the simpsons Woohoo!
zaftig Pleasingly plump. Thin may be in, but fat is where it's at. Chubby people are much more fun to snuggle and cuddle with, and you don't have to worry about breaking them like you do with skinny people. ;)
zuni fetishes Small statues of animals, carved by Zuni indians. I've got a few dozen or so. Some of them have shown themselves to be quite powerful, and are not to be used lightly.
