Listened to Sirius 118, Radio Classics, on the way to work this morning.

It was an unusual episode of Suspense, titled "Backseat Driver", with none other than Fibber McGee and Molly! It's very strange listening to these two, famous for their comedy, doing an episode of Suspense. It was really good episode too, listen to it if you have the chance.

What's it about? The title sounds familiar and I've listened to so much Suspense that I wouldn't be surprised if I've heard it before.

Fibber McGee and Molly get carjacked by a murderer.

Hrm... doesn't sound familiar. I'll go through my CDs and look for it.

I know exactly that episode; it's a fascinating one. When I first heard it I kept waiting to hear what the joke was, but no, Fibber McGee[1] and Molly were playing it perfectly straight. And extremely well, too.

[1] Also the voice of Orville the albatross, in The Rescuers.
